Ferroalloys encompass a large group of alloys composited of iron and in addition one another metal, semimetal or non-metal. The concentrations of the alloyed element can typically range from 10-80%. Due to the wide range of possible alloys, carbon, sulfur, nitrogen and oxygen analysis can be particularly challenging.
